  • Gold limit why is there a gold limit?

I love how you brought up that the loot tables are designed for a much high population then what our American servers have, and they keep bloating the loot tables with trash as well which makes it even harder to get mats. Also personally i do not sell like that i got and see what the 3 lowest items on the board is going for (of the certain item is i'm selling) and go for a maginal price in between cause i want my item to sell quickly so i can put more up on the AH as soon as possible to turn more profit.

Dungeon loot tables suck in general, take Peaca Abyss for example, not only you get no EXP, but the enchant that people want from it drops at a VERY low rate, to top it off you hardly get any reward for the effort you've put into the dungeon, sure it is short, but not THAT short. Cost more than a 50 hp or mp potion and maybe a weapon or two... the same applies to the advance dungeons, quite apparent with shattered and ruptured pieces that are needed for some Celtic gear, to be honest Celtic gear, for how hard it is too obtain its mats, should perform even better, as the drops and the cost of the mats with the chance of a good 'roll' is slim. I mean a ruptured cost like what... 15 mil now? Yet the weapon itself doesn't even come close to that price, that or it does, but it isn't worth the effort.

A Dan 3 blacksmith/engineer can take basic gear and make it perform on par to Celtic, if not better, though getting to Dan 3 is another problem entirely (crafting progression is way to flipping slow).

Just annoyed is all.. This game has saved my life more times then i can count. I just hate that i as a player of 10 years can not progress any further without shelling out a ton of money i don't have cause i am an adult and have bills to pay and family to feed, for more space in a virtual bank. My personal opinion is that there should be a cap put in place on the AH So more players can get the items they want off the board. AND to the person who said people put items up for ungoldy prices to try to get people to negotiate with them they can use the party system to do that like we all have its not that hard.

people do that, they put a item up on AH and post a party on the board saying S> something on AH note me offer. its to get people too see not only the stats but the weapon itself. It makes sense, but if he/she sells it at face value, would it be wise to argue it? I'd personally would take the 300mil because someone offered it. But also the supply and demand of some items, as pointed above would fix these problems, don't wana flood the market with em, but do it enough where it levels the market out to a point where it doesn't require a whale to buy said item.

  • GOLD LIMIT WHAT IN TARNATION

I agree this is why i suggest this be changed why is there a limit in the first place? No other mmo i've played has a maximum amount of gold an avatar could hold. Why should i have to go thru the trouble of advertising to someone and even with the trade expansion how am i supposed to fit 300m in to the window its just as unsafe as a drop trade at that point because multiple trades would have to happen, and i doubt the item in question would be handed over on the first trade at that point the other person could walk away with a ton of my cash and rip me off. the AH need to be fixed so stuff like this doesn't happen either that or they need to set the maximum amount an item that can be sold for on the AH to 200m. the current system as is, is broken and need an update thats why i put the poll up there. there needs to be accommodations made so people don't have to risk losing out on gold in trade windows that won't hold the proper amount and account that cant hold the amount of gold required to even make this trade in the first place..

quite right, even if the engine is 32 bit, the max amount is slightly above 2 billion for numbers (or exactly 2,147,483,647), and sense it doesn't deal in decimal they can just do a unsigned Int in the coding of their engine, allowing for only positive numbers, sense we can never go negative in our accounts unless someday they put a LOAN system, which I'd doubt, also there is alot of fees in this game, Checks are just another handicap to a broken system, having to pay... what 5% for a check? That gets expensive, FAST with higher values, a shame that they made it only free if you use their clearly over priced premium service.

TBH, the reason why this limit is here, now I think about it, is so they can sell that premium service, you get no processing fee for the check, and the max amount you can put on a check is increased from 10mil, to 40mil. In my experience, the premium service isn't worth the value they are asking for, $15 a month is like a Amazon Subscription, or 30 days of play time on FFXIV, and you don't have to ask which one i'd rather pay for between the 3. Amazon, Mabi, or FFXIV... gona pick FFXIV every time.

  • A few homestead QOL improvements

Of course players shouldn't want to pay to access their homestead homes, but if a paywall is needed, I would suggest instead of renting. to use some sort mortgage payment paid off using kon that is produced from the homestead (this way fields, seeds and other products are more utilized in the homestead). The value of kon payment depends on level and value of the homestead. (Optional, if players want to pay gold, leave that option in). And of course, players with premium service would continue to get free access.

Im not against nor for this, but if you spent the time, resources, and credits to build the home, it should be yours by all rights, the property should be charged, not the house. Thats how real estate works, you can buy land, rent land, but if you put a building on it, you own that build if you paid for it out of pocket. That is essentially what we did as players who had to get the building stones, wood and other mats including gold or homestead stones to make our own homes.

Now there is hardly any services being provided in these homes, and to get them to worth the value you are paying or in the homestead... is basically end game material. So What bothers me is, why didn't they just charge for the services that we have in the homestead, and if we don't pay for said services, then they are not available to use, instead they have the whole house behind a pay wall so people would use the housing district more.

  • Mabinogi need "Proper" quality of Life changes.

Considering that DK and Pally are both very old transformations, with Elf and Giant right behind them, these early transformations are more of a stepping stone towards later ingame content. Pally gets alot of defensive abilities, as for DK they are more suited for offensive.

Though it would be nice to... idk... combine different transformations, think about it. and ill use a spoiler for those who did not finish G21.
In G21 there is alot of talk about different energies within the main character, but equally balanced enough where it wont destroy the character. Now that is what Nascent Divinity is suppose to be, but I think it should also take the buffs from other transformations that you may have, like demigod, or pally/DK, as in reflecting the health and defenses of said transformations.

That said, I think it is kindof bogus that you cannot use previous generation transformations during Nascent Divinity, sure it is strong, but you gain no health bonuses right off the batt, so instead of being a tanky god like creature, you are more of a glass cannon. It is a 'either or' situation, you can be a Nascent Divinity or the others, but not all of them.

  • Solo-able Tech Duinn Missions

I know that this is a old topic, but I'm going to bump this as it is still an issue and add onto it, even now as were already past the half way mark of 2020.

The main issue I personally have, and some of you may also have, been seeing with the current generations of mabi, is inconsistency. The story displays these dungeons to be one thing, but entirely different from what really happens. We run Tech Duinn in the story, and apparently we can solo these mission, but if we were to run the actual missions, given that I agree that they should be done with a party, the difficulty is severely increased to the point where you will rely on Nao stones and Full restores. It is true that Tech can be done solo but you will either need to know the tells before it happens (where the enemy will attack) or be one tough character.

As for this, well... not everyone is a walking do it all in the game... I mean LOOK at how much AP you have. and that you are also linked with a pet. This is a poor example of a average player trying to actually enjoy the content that the game has to provide.

Back on topic though... I think it would be nice to have Soloable Tech missions and not just that but also ENTRY level dungeons for this AND for Girg (G20-G21) missions. People don't even try training their crusader abilities because its just a constant struggle to just unlock the subset. Having entry level dungeons would provide a stepping stone for people who just finished these generations, and would like to progress further with character development. But instead I'm standing here going "I CANT RUN THIS" or "NO WAY" because some 1% of the community thinks its too easy.

This is where Final Fantasy XIV does better than Mabi, and Mabi can learn from this, theres a thing called EX raids, or nightmare raids that I would compare Tech and Girg missions too, but in conjunction for these raids, there are smaller raids or dungeons that help you get there, which some are solo-able or can be done in a party of AVERAGE players not elite do it alls. Now I know that some would be all sour and act like a child saying "well why dont you go play FFXIV if you like it so much" well I would, but I like Mabi too, and some members of the community. Its my choice to be here, but its also my choice to point out flaws in the game too. So far I feel so disconnected from the story it feels like... "why bother" as to get to that point would either take a grip load of gold, or a grip load of time that people don't have anymore. There should be solutions for the casual gamer in the community as well.
