There are plenty of people. This is nothing like what happened in the EU servers which were broken to the point of no one being able to play. I can't see NA shutting down any time soon. Maybe we should have merged all the NA servers and just added more channels, but at the time the numbers showed that it would most likely work as they did it. It's not possible to predict this stuff perfectly. If you want to play on the KR servers then maybe petition the IP block to be removed, but I'm fairly certain there is no chance of transferring accounts to there.
Everything is fine. Keep Calm and Carry On.
But it's true that video games can have an effect in the real world. I've spent countless hours playing Tetris and now I can't enter any room without stacking all the furniture.
This can be seen in people playing other games too. Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds is popular and look at how they've affected the world, people throwing fruit in the air and throwing birds at pigs. This has to stop! At this rate mines are going to go extinct from all the kids sweeping them! And don't even get me started on Solitaire!!
It's only a matter of time before Mabinogi makes people in the real world put on paladin armour at 5:50AM every day. A few more years and we'll be seeing people standing in town doing literally nothing for hours.
