  • Auction System Minimum Bid Potential Abuse

We have already told you that there is no fault in neither the bidder nor the system
As I've stated before, this is supposed to be an Auction House, where bids take place.
If only a single bidder places the minumum bid, then the Auction is no longer an Auction, but classified as a general purchase.
This changes the function of the Auction system entirely, and no longer brings forth any proper execution for players to see a reason to up the bid to win the item.
Instead, they'll lazily place a minimum bid, and wait three days for time to run out.
This has happened on not one, but several of my auctioned items.

Nope, it seems that you still don't understand how an auction works, its called an auction because multiple bidders can bid on an item they want/need, even if only one bidder place the bid then its still classified as an auction, it doesn't mean that the auction is classified as a general purchase just because no other players are interested in your offered items.

And people aren't lazy when only placing the minimum bid since you're the one that placed that bid to begin with, why would anyone raise the bid if they don't need to? That is just stupid and i still cant hear any reason or logic in your arguments here, there are just complains that you cant deal with the auction and that no one wants to place a higher bid for you.
This has happened on not one, but several of my auctioned items.

If you think there is a problem with the auction house, why are you still using it? It wont change anything since there is no problem to begin with.

  • Auction System Minimum Bid Potential Abuse

You've been complaining a lot that only one bidder was interested in your items Darkpixie99 but that is not because of the system, we have explained to you over and over again that this is how auctions works no matter where you are, its not bugged and its not unfair when someone got lucky enough to buy your item at the first bid.

It's not like there are hundreds of players waiting for just you and your item to starts a bidding war for said item, many players aren't interested in the auction and even less are interested in your items. It doesn't matter if the item you got is rare or incredible valuable, if there are no demands for it then of course no one will try to buy or bid for it.
You got lucky and got one bidder, one person showing some interest for the item you offered and your next move is to complain in the forum since you thought that having just one interested person was unfair.

We have already told you that there is no fault in neither the bidder nor the system and we have taken our time to both explain it to you and given you advice and examples of real auctions in the real life, it doesn't always work like in the movies where you could get rich in just one night. Sometimes you're just unlucky and won't get the item sold, that's normal.

So either stop auction your items or put up a minimum bid that you want to sell it for and hope that someone gets interested in your item again, if youre lucky some other people might raise the bid for you but that is entirely up to luck, its not like we know when someone puts up a rare or good item to begin with so luck is a big factor in the Auction house my friend.

  • Auction System Minimum Bid Potential Abuse

So you want the auctioneer to be able to "abuse" the system by canceling the auction at the last minute just because they didn't get a good enough bid? Sorry but i vote against your idea in that case, if i bet on something at a reasonable price then i want to be able to win it without it getting snatched away because the auctioneer didnt like the minimum bid they placed themselves. :/
Its to prevent the abuse you mentioned that the auction works the way it does, you can only blame yourself if the minimum bid is lower than you want it to be.

There is also the option to just sell the item with just a buyout price and no bids, that way the seller and buyer can get a nice and clean sale immediately. I personally think its a good system they have running since its so simple yet effective.

And as @Bronzebreak above mentioned, that's how an auction works, people bid on the items and the last bidder wins (or the first one if no one else bids on the item.)
The auction option is new in Mabinogi and not a lot of people have managed to learn how it works, and if no one is interested then they won't bid on the items either. That's just how it works in the real world as well, sometimes you get lucky and sell the items for a great price, but other times people aren't interested and you get no bid at all. (or just 1 like in your case here)

  • The Lost Continent of Erinn

The world of Erinn, us Milletians has been running around the continents of Erinn for over 10 years and we have helped a lot of the troubled people that live there, but did we really help them all?
This is the world as we know it, Uladh, the home of the humans, Iria the land of elves and giants and Belvast, the island that connects them.

    30415166_10216469360990796_3993084034858090496_n.jpg?_nc_cat=108&_nc_ht=scontent.fgse1-1.fna&oh=ad81156ac0da51bd4a9cfbe1b4159b0c&oe=5C9565C9

You entered the Soulstream as you died but Nao is making a troubled expression, you ask her whats wrong and she tells you about the land that was first lost to the Fomor attacks long before the Milletians arrived, the lost continent.

There lived a race of dwarves that could craft nearly anything with their mighty hammers and repel any invading forces with their weaponry and strength, they were a proud race that used their crafting skills to trade and commerce with the continent of Iria and the people who lived there.

Since they did not discriminate between races they traded with both the giants, elves and the dark elves that lived there. The dwarves thought themselves as either equal or above the other races and so they did not care about the wrath of the giants who saw them as traitors for trading with the elves as well as giants.

The Elves felt the same and soon the two races refused to commerce with them and cut off all their connections with the dwarves, the only race that continued trading despite the wars were the dark elves race that was a master of magic and magical research. They lived in the deep forests of Karu and were grateful for the dwarven items that were traded for various local products and so the Dark Elves and the Dwarves kept a friendly relationship with each other.

One day, a giant Fomor arrived in the volcanic lands of the dwarves, it was a huge Hydra who excelled in regeneration and it led its forces to lay waste of the cities and lands of the Dwarves. The Dwarves stood their grounds and fought back for many years but they were slowly getting pushed back and many cities fell at the might of the hydra.

The dwarves who stubbornly defended their homeland refused to ask for help at first but as the Fomor grew in numbers they finally changed their mind and reached out to the people of Iria, the Giants scorned them and even barricaded the borders so that the dwarves wouldn't drag the Fomors over to their people, the elves turned the cold shoulder and refused to listen to their pleas.

But the Dark Elves accepted their request, the dark elves as a whole race came together to come to their friend's aid and they brought their whole race with them so they wouldn't have to worry about the ones left behind. As the giants were hostile against elves and had their borders closed the dark elves used their magical knowledge and made a special mana tunnel that would connect to the dwarven continent so they may travel safely.

The mana tunnel was a one-way path so there was no way of going back home for the dark elves, and they didn't arrive at the base of the dwarves as they planned either. Something went wrong with the mana tunnels and they were separated by the Fomors, shortly after the whole continent went silent and felled under the Fomors control.

The hydra tried to enter the lands of Iria but the Giants managed to push it back along with its worn-down forces, the goddess saw what happened to the dwarves and chose to interfere before the Hydra managed to reach the other races of Erinn and it was sealed in the lost continent.

Everyone feared the worst and we thought that both the dwarven race and the dark elf race were lost, until today.

A lone dark elf woman was found in the water outside of Vales not long ago and her weapon fits the description of the dwarven weaponry they used for trade long ago, she is still unconscious and hasn't woken up yet.

Milletian, I ask of you to travel to the lost continent and see if there are any survivors. It is a dangerous place filled with strong Fomors and dangers but we need to know if there is anyone still alive and help them, they have fought alone for all this time and they could use your help.

Yeah that was a little long, sorry about that, i got to abosorbed in my story so i even wrote it more dramatic than i thought i would. ^^"

But yes, my suggestion is a new continent of Erinn and to introduce 2 new races in a hostile land filled with fomors.
(it was mostly flavor text and a reason why we havent heard from the two races before.)

Many people over the years have asked for Dark Elves and Dwarves to be implemented in Mabinogi and here i am doing the same thing, im asking of a new continent, 2 new races and a new big hunting ground of stronger fomors (See it as end-game materials or something)

The continent could be filled with ruins and graveyards or just some wilderness with a few dungeons that the goddess managed to form as she sealed the hydra (possible raid boss?) in the lands.

  • Practical Trash Bins!

Remember the sweeping event where you guys had us players sweep up all the trash in Dunbarton? (And after that had a fishing event that made us throw even more trash on the ground? XD) That cleaning event was a good but a temporary idea that showed us that you guys from Mabi are at least aware of the littering in the game.

Here is my suggestion, give the trashbin a delete function!

    For Example:
You click on the trashbin and your inv opens up along with a menu from the trash bin, every item you single-click (one time) on will be marked and the list will show you the item's name (like the one from the HS if you dropped something and is exiting.) and have a delete button at the bottom. Clicking the delete button will make a pop-up window ask you if you really want to destroy all of the marked items and if you click yes it will all be gone from your inventory.

Its a lot easier to do it this way instead of right-clicking on an item and then click drop it (and then repeat the whole process since that one item can be dropped, only destroyed...) and as long as you have enough space on the ground you can drop most of the stuff you don't want from your inventory.

The Inventory mostly gets clogged up during the events and fishing etc and it could be an annoying experience clearing all that space over and over again, and not to mention the littering in the game that you (for some universally unknown reason) cant pick up. So since nobody can even touch the items, why not just give us an option to use those decorations called trash bins in the game.

We could even have the option that the items stay for a few days before they permanently disappear and the player could visit the trash bin again to see if the item they accidentally threw away is still there.

Here's an example of mass littering that i encountered one morning, the items were all over the place.

And if you tried to use ALT, as usual, to make things easier to talk with the NPC, this is what happens.

I want to play a game, find the NPC.

So please give us an easier option to clean out our inventory, thank you.
