The game terminated a guildmate's connection and my game just paused; couldn't move or talk but sounds from the mobs around me were still playing and idle animations were still working. I had to crash my client out with task manager since I couldn't get it to even let me manually disconnect.

I run through Steam and it immediately let me relaunch, unlike a few days ago when it was throwing random error codes about the server not responding/sending back gibberish. It took forever after clicking "Play Game" for it to pass the "Logging in..." portion, but after it FINALLY loaded the on-screen secondary keyboard everything continued and loaded as normal. I'm back on Mari ch6 right now.

This is the second time now this month. Forget paying; are they FEEDING the hamsters?

I'm having a lot of problems casting buffs as well. Half the time when I try to cast BFO, it just...Doesn't do anything for at least a few seconds, or sometimes at all. I spent a couple minutes in Barri for the stamp for the day testing, and I was literally incapable of casting Lullaby on a single aggro bat because I couldn't get the buff to cast in between getting spammed by just its normal attack.

In a game where reaction time is critical, this is crippling. I don't know if this is intended as some sort of "fix" that's broken what didn't need repairing or if it is in fact a bug, but either way, every bard I know right now is struggling. If this is a patch of some kind, that's just dandy because they've made bards all but useless during chaotic missions where latency alone or frameloss was enough to contend with.

Hopefully this just goes hand in hand with the music being broken (again) and it gets reverted.

So many of them are so pretty, I wound up saving a bunch of them. xD

I just went ahead and bought the last 2 colors I needed since I'm not entirely interested in any of the other prizes except maybe a training seal. I've got friends I can help with pieces who have almost all of their chisels still, so I'll be banging out missions and levels left and right ANYWAY and would have inevitably gotten more duplicates just the same...Kinda like I already did 4 or 5 times. :C I felt like a jerk dropping them in front of people who need them.

And not gonna lie, much disappoint in dat pink.

I actually went so far as to send a support ticket questioning whether or not Steam users will even be able to launch after the update. Submitted it about 10 hours ago and it was viewed 4 hours later. I have no idea if it's going to get answered or not, but it's the only thing I could think to do for confirmation, since Steam in its own right directly launches the game the same way we do, but through its own Mabinogi.exe in its own folder.

I've got 3 BRAND NEW PLAYERS who I advised to use Steam instead of the launcher because of the issues other friends have with it, and I can almost guarantee they'll quit if it means redownloading the whole damn thing. A simple proof positive if all of those running to Steam are ”safe” or not is honestly necessary at this point. ”It should be” just is NOT ENOUGH when it comes to Nexon. We're a group of friends irl and a few of us were going to surprise them with NX cards to use for pets, but if this is what the game is amounting to we'd be better off telling them to run while they have a chance.
