I agree that NPC shops are LONG overdue for an overhaul. I think several steps should be involved:

1. New textures/models for old clothing. Some old clothes are decent design-wise, but the textures are terrible. Others could use a higher poly count as well.
2. Fewer race/age restrictions on old outfits. Most of the old outfits were human/elf only.
3. Addition of old gacha/event clothes to NPC shops. Examples: Primitive Fox, Tioz, etc.
4. Do the same for sewing patterns and blacksmith manuals.

I also like the idea of limited quantity items. Make it like the Trade Imp's shop, that they change every in-game day, and only a few are available at any given time.

Yes, please. I won't use it myself, but I would not object to seeing fewer "Legolas420" and "Kirito6969"-type character names.

A good indicator of just how good Final Hit is, look at the Clobbermeister leaderboard. Just now, top score on my board was 1.35m points, with most of the top 10 being 750k or above. I have zero doubt every single one of those scores is a human who used final hit (I recognize a lot of the names). Best I managed in a dozen tries with Frosted Borealis Hammers using Bash and pretty decent damage gear was 144k, about 1/10th the top score. Yeah, I could do better once I have better enchants and get them to R6 or R7, but I don't think I'll be doing 10x the damage.

Another indicator used to be Boss Trial clear times. All the top spots were humans with Final Hit. Smash-level damage with no knockback and instant teleport to the next target is just super OP. Final Hit is just insane burst damage, if you can call it that because of how long the sustain is. The skill is broken, really.

I would take that trade. Compared to Final Hit those skills are garbage. Wind Guard is nice only because of GFS, which STILL gets interrupted if a mob hits you. Sure, the damage multiplier is almost 2x that of FH, and it's AoE, but you can attack 5-10 times with Final Hit in the time it takes to pull off one GFS. Not to mention, while GFS is good for bunches of closely-bunched mobs, FH is WAY better for solo bosses or even those same groups bc you one-hit most of them. Stomp is weak damage -- better than it used to be since it scales now, but still nothing like FH. Final Shot was kinda crappy when it came out, dunno how it compares now (I main a giant). Mirage Missile is an extremely niche skill.

The biggest problem with the minimum bids is that they are so outdated. Since the item list has not changed, but the availability of the items HAS, the starting bids for most items are just ridiculous now. Five years ago, a Highlander Bow or Highlander Claymore was a 5-10m item, when the only way to get them was to clear Peaca Intermediate when that was very difficult. Then they went in gacha, with r1 preforges, then better weapons came out, and now they're worth what, maybe 50-100k? Avenger Valencia Armor is common gacha trash, worth maybe 250k, but it's 5m minimum bid at the auction. I used to sell Karis Wizard Suits for 6-7M, and in that case, the pattern selling for 3m was worth it. Nowadays, I sell suits for 250k and it takes days to sell one.

Some of the items still have decent prices. 1M for 10 ancient powders is still a bargain. A Terra Gothic Full Dress for 1m is still reasonable, etc. These however are the exception, not the rule.
