Hard to be optimistic when we lagging behind other servers and that gap just keeps increasing

I dunno about that, we waited around for a Christmas and New Years event, never got that, along with plenty of other stuff. I think people tired of being patient with Nexon NA because clearly, it hasn't gotten us anywhere outside of "here's a new cashgrab."
