So...Keanu Reeves is some sort of Legend...
I have apparently been living under some sort of rock when it comes to pop-culture. I've
heard of this Keanu Reeves fellow but
now I'm intrigued...
I suspect that most of the viewers/commenters were teenagers during the early 90s but the comments about Keanu Reeves seems to be pretty consistent.
I wonder if DevCAT ever does a future-event where Milletians can make themselves look like Keanu Reeves or even have a Keanu Reeves partner...
...sort of like those Maids & Butlers... just
how «popular» that
could end up [potentially] being. I am just wondering. Really...
wondering... yeah... I am.

Huh, same thing that Islamic extremists say.
To be fair, its kinda unhealthy, but then so's their methods of dealing with it. SO-
Sorry, did I ruin your daily celebrity and KPOP worship?
No, because I don't worship celebs nor am I a big fan of KPOP. Nice try though. LOL.
You can make your report to Master Putin now.
You're very odd.

For the most part, I actually regard it as relatively harmless so long as the item/object/person/man/woman/girl/boy/etc., who is in question is peaceful/honest/moral/ethical/etc. Believe it or not, this Keanu Reeves guy apparently matches that description, for he is apparently extremely generous (and women find him hot), this guy is also very humble (and women find him hot), a guy who takes time out of his day for the sake of benefiting other people... including spending time with a homeless man and driving a woman 50 miles out of his way because her car broke down (and did I mention that women find him hot ?), a real gentleman who will give up his seat for another on public transportation because he's such a gentleman (and did I mention that women find him hot yet ?), and basically plenty of other reasons to idolize the LEGEND known as Keanu Reeves... ;o
Okay, and on a more serious note, when the whole «idolatry» thing does become a problem... details in next spoiler...
Foolish man - "Wake up," for soon God's Plan is fulfilled, and any of you found 'sleeping' with false ideology that is 'idolatry' of an 'object,' being the 'Rulebook' or the false 'ancestral' codes of conduct, will be 'hidden away' in the DARK for eternity.
Every 'child' must grow up free to be happy and to sing and dance and to see 'other' mothers suckle children on 'breasts' publicly. For this way it becomes 'normalcy.'» -Quoted from http://www.the-testament-of-truth.co.uk/truth/web/spirit3.htm
Basically, if the form of «idolatry» is one where-in it causes one to be or become war-mongering, then yes, that is most-certainly a problem. If you uphold «rules» and «following orders» as SO «sacrèd» that you will punish or even KILL those who are in contravention of said rulings, then, basically, you are what Mark Passio calls an «order-follower» who are responsible for the most amounts of and worst atrocities in all of human-history, for an Order-Follower simply does what they are told... regardless of whether it is right or wrong, but a moralist/ideologist (and many so-called conspiracy theorists) does what is right regardless of what they are told or ordered to do. One time I was asked by a «psychiatrist» as to whether I would shoot someone walking down the street if ordered to do so by my commander. I had to respond : «Absolutely not, if anything, I would think that commander would be the one who needs to be arrested for trying to commit TREASON» (and I don't care how much they might «bark» at me for being a «grunt/sub-ordinate» ...NOTHING over-rides the «jurisdiction» of what is «reasonable» ...otherwise there never would have been such a thing as the Nuremburg-Trials).
Disclaimer : I do not advocate the «killing» of others, even if they are the world's most-wanted criminals, but I do quote lines that have punch...
Give me a 3 and I'll be even.
The term "fan/atic" and "stan" have their origins for a reason. It can be detrimental to people's lives, mental health, finances and in extreme cases lead to murder/crime of innocent victims (whether it's the celebrity themselves, the fan, or people that were around them).
Stalker behavior, mailing the people they "admire" horrible things (organic material/fluids from body, dangerous objects). The fact that some actors/ idols (< isn't that a funny term?) are forced to apologize or are not allowed to publicly have boyfriends/girlfriends as they might upset their fans or possibly be in danger. The fact that these fans can get so depressed and starved of affection they will donate their life savings to online people that couldn't care less about them. Obsessive followers of instagram/twitter "influencers" become so insecure about their own body image, lifestyle, happiness because it doesn't match the person they look up to. They will psychologically bully people who don't agree and to lesser extent, are just plain obnoxious in general.
I'm not referring to little girl with a poster of her "crush" or whatever on the wall. Idolatry (aside from its religious use) is different than admirer, it is more extreme and is a culture that is banked off of. It's also my choice to think it's unhealthy mindset. But is this opinion comparable to Islamic extremism? I don't see how, but okay. There is a combination of pity, and, for the more criminal ones, contempt. It's all very sad to me.
Of course, you're free to respond with the usual one-word post. I don't want to be on the side of any forum "regular" here, if that's how it is. I guess police should mind their business when it came to Ricardo Lopez, Grant Amato, Hibiki Sato, or Mark David Chapman.
I'm not even going to bother discussing it any further because it's just going to be endless back and forth since we all hate Калашников, just stating a little opinion.
One of my instructors back in the day used to always say to me : «Everything in moderation»
Furthermore...
If you eat too much, you face the consequence of becoming obese, the number one reason for the world's causes of death.
If you play too much, you get little to no work done, and potentially end up homeless and out on the streets.
If you work too much, you end up with absolutely no social-life, AND the illegitimate de facto corporate-government ramps up is thievery upon you.
If you research too much, you end up learning about the truth about the world, and people start calling you a tin-foil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist.
If you study too much, you become more and more arrogant and egotistical about how «smart» you are, especially compared to academic drop-outs.
If you socialise too much, you subject and prone yourself to the effects of peer-pressure, even when said «herd-mentality» is highly mis-guided.
If you install too much apps on your mobile-device, you run out of storage-space, and that also leads to higher incidences of cell-phone glitches.
If you hoard too much, you run out of space in your own home, soon running out of space to even walk around, and it's harder to organise.
If you «drive» too much in the USSA, the cops will eventually pull you over, and are highly likely to fabricate a false reason to murder you.
If you complain too much about government-corruption, you will get censored, and they'll falsely label you as a «sovereign citizen» (an oxymoron).
If you womanise too much, many of the ladies will eventually end up avoiding you entirely, and you'll also gimp your pair-bonding ability.
If you argue too much with others, especially those whom are defined by society as your family members, you end up with a house divided.
If you watch too much animé, not only do you become an otaku and potentially even a weeaboo, you might also end up as a N.E.E.T...
If you spread your training amongst too many different skills, you never actually master anything, even if becoming a jack-of-all-trade.
If you take too many forum-posts too seriously, you miss out on the «humour» of certain potential inside-jokes, and the psychiatrists will diagnose you as autistic for it (not that I put much stock/trust/belief in said industry due to how fraudulently is is manipulated by the dishonest pharmaceutical-corporations which can be proven by quoting and citing the literally thousands of numerous law-suits against the psychotropics drug-manufacturers).
If you multi-task too much, your focus becomes divided, and the quality of your work suffers...
If you make lists like this too long, you end up with walls of text, and I think that's an indication for me to stop here & click the Post Comment button...
It's like poetry this time.
