I don't understand why fishing isn't a part of the cooking talent when many of the dishes you make use fish.

For the same reason "Combat" isn't part of the "Cooking" talent; despite the number of dishes made with Sliced or Large Meat. :smirk:

They covered that base by having Close Combat being part of Culinary Artist.

Ya'know, despite it being "fishing" you sure do catch a lot of NOT fish.

Maybe it should be part of Apothecary talent, because I sure seem to fish up a lot of potions and herbs.

But anyways, let's not switch Fishing away from Adventurer.
It's almost as bare-bones a talent as Mercantile.

Horrible analogy, you can buy both of those things in a shop. You can't buy every kind of fish.

Perhaps it could be in both like production mastery is in almost every if not every life talent.

PSH! Who is fishing for food? Every man (or women, let's not be sexist ;) ) fishes in hopes of having a good adventure! That's why it's under Adventurer's Talent! :D

    That's an interesting idea.

There are skill that are in multiple talents at once.

Fishing could fall under both Adventure and Cooking pretty easily.

On the same topic, then Add Weaving to the Smithing talent. Those Tough Strings/Thread and Straps aren't made easily! To make it easier, make a Crafting Ace and call it Steve or Alex. :P

Might as well add Tasting to Adventurer skills too. iHUHPgR.png
Let's merge potion making with alchemy too, seems they are the same thing. iHUHPgR.png
