Never go elf if you're new.

Giants might be good with the new buffs coming out.

Go human for the easiest time. You'll get to endgame in no time with final hit and some cheap final hit reforges. Use bash when final hit is on cooldown. Start out with dual wielding beam swords then upgrade to CRKs. Level up all the str combat skills. Then all that's left is raising str life skills.
Magic is okay too for a beginner but it's a pain to get all the skills.

Actually Elf is good as well, when I first started I went apothecary and started on the life skills (which are crucial for elves). Mix in a bit of archery and warrior and it sets you up nicely for mage what with all the mana and int. Protection is crucial but elves can where royal knight armour which is great for when you are training your warrior and mage although the dex penalty will affect your archery. It is the most challenging, so IMO is the most fun race to play (if you like a good challenge rather than Nintendo).

You call though as to what server, and everyone here ahs given some good advice but the best advice is to do what you like. It's YOUR Fantasy life.

  • What Would You Want Fix In Mabi

There is one thing that I always found very lacking. Iria is huge, yet empty, it would be fantastic to be able explore and (as pointed out earlier) discover new things and places that are not pointed to by any quests. Imagine what commerce would be like, nawwww most of you are in such a huge rush to finish stuff would most likely cause nothing but complaints, but if the reward was right..... just saying.
