  • Update Suggestions of August

Bookstore/Gallery and Wine Shops need to be implemented.
Revamp jousting and fashion show. Westward expansion of Ulahd out of Tara.

Expansions are great but I think refining what we have would be great. Expansions should only be done when it is necessary. Then we have to figure out why the need for a new city, what will it offer that would be unique to other cities. Perhaps it sells more advanced weapons than other cities, although we have Edern, perhaps they would be more endgame weapons. Perhaps, it sells manuals, instead. Perhaps it introduces a new class. Before we can think of expanding the horizons, I think Tara needs to be worked on, first.

Speaking of new classes, I mentioned in another thread that Tara would be a perfect place to introduce a Thief/Rogue talent. It's the biggest city on the continent, you can't tell me there isn't a seedy side. Think of it, a Thieves' Guild right in Tara, with it's own mission board, NPC's, a Black Market, and one heck of an introductory class quest (intrigue, twists and turns...and a thrilling heist mission!). What? A gal can dream...

  • Avoid Channel 1 Alexina When On Connous Beach

Tisk, tisk, tisk. This thread RIGHT HERE.

I mean, pranking the AFKers maybe once in one week could be considered acceptable...but I have a feeling there's more than a few cans of spam involved in this mischief...

    but for role-playing purposes
I thought this was a discussion of game mechanics and balance for the action fantasy MMO Mabinogi. I didn't know this was a D&D forum, my mistake I don't know how I got here I am bad at internet.

You know, the "RPG" in "MMORPG" stands for "Role-Playing." Just putting that out there. And, yes, while for some players the meta and min-maxing their character to perfection is the end-all-be-all of the game, others do play it for the thrill of adventure and to play out their fantasy of being on an epic magical journey as *insert classic RPG character type or mix of classic character types here*. The only character type not properly represented in this game? Rogue. What are rogues known for? Stealing, stealth, and...say it with me now...dual-wielding daggers! If we can't get a proper rogue talent, the least we can get is Elves dual-wielding daggers. Besides, it could finally make daggers relevant if they also add some new types of daggers and have the Elf version of dual-wielding come with things like increased chance of inflicting bleed, a high crit chance, or the ability to unlock combat hide or backstab at a high enough rank. (Really, daggers are basically dead content. The only reason to keep one around is if it has an enchantment you can't burn off yet. It's depressing.)

Besides, if you think dual-wielding is such an inferior strategy, what should it matter to you if one more race can do it anyway? It may not be optimal if you play solely based on numbers, but it's fun and it makes people feel bad-oars. As they say, sometimes the perfect is the enemy of the good...

  • Let us use existing glasses as Face Accessories

This is the level if EA's greed. Instead of updating old items they better make same "new" ones to continue to cash grab people. Disgusting.

...And that's not even counting how they're treating The Sims right now...Really, when people talk about EA's crap, they never talk about how they've totally botched things when it comes to The Sims 4...and it's only a hair's breadth away from the lootbox/gatcha problem way too many other games have these days. I love The Sims, but I'm not buying a single new pack until they get werewolves and magic in already (They only just got mermaids...Like, 3 years after they finally added vampires...which was, like 2 years after aliens...and a whole bunch of garbage stuff packs in between. Yeah, it's one step away from becoming a gatcha-based nightmare...).

But, back on topic, converting existing eyeware to the face slot is just a no-brainer. Heck, if they want to make money off of it, they could sell a $1 slot conversion kit in the cash shop.

  • I guess VIP update was a lie

I think they meant "soon" in "meandering, indecisive parent" time. If you have a parent like that, you know exactly what I mean. When they say, "soon," they mean they'll get around to it after their knee stops hurting and their allergies clear up and they've spent 3-4 hours at the grocery store buying a load of groceries that would take any sane person just 30 minutes to pick up and they've cleaned the bathroom and mopped, dusted, and vacuumed through the whole house and they've done their hair and clipped their toe nails and grabbed a nap and watched 3 hours of bad primetime T.V. and... Yeah, that kind of parent. That's Nexon NA.
