Ninja is a good source of Strength, although it can be rather grind-filled.

I would look at the wiki site and look at the categorized skills based on the stats that you want.

    https://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/Stats_and_Skills#Strength

The game play has changed so much that people don't use too much technique as skills are pretty strong to just spam things to death now.

So you got close combat to expert and want more strength?

Easy, get close combat to master.
Could even go for grandmaster if you feel courageous enough.
Not just for the strength, but for that +30 min/max damage buff to your melee.

    Or do lances. Either works.

I won't say ninja since ninja, like most dual stat talents, expects you to already be fairly high leveled.
Unless you like doing less than 100 damage per attack.

I was recommending Ninja because it would add more STR, which was the poster's goal, not for the purposes of using Ninja by itself. However - either way - Nilrem is still correct, in-so-much as that you should really finish Close-Combat for some of the best-results.

if you want something less grindy than ninja you also have the option of Knight talent.... unless you're an elf for some reason

Transformation mastery also adds a lot of str, especially if you finish shamala's little side quests to collect certain amount of critters. she gives you more free str ....Carpentry also adds a lot of str...almost as much str as final hit

checking that list and going for the ones that add a lot of str can be useful too. you don't necessarily have to train an entire talent

Yeah just follow that list and rank everything that pertains to that stat. There are also other talents that provide additional strength. Every strength point adds up to that 1500 cap (along with enchants and weapons). Plus you can surpass that cap by upgrading your red echostone. Good luck and try not to get overwhelmed.

They key in this is to be patient and not rush. Find a way to make it enjoyable rather than make it a grinding chore.
