Lorraine's Nightmare achievements not working

So for Lorraines Nightmare, we went in, bought a bunch of stuff, and we failed the second wave to go quick. We got the achievement for using the talent in the game for the first time, but we didn't get anything for buying skills or items. We tried this again and beat the second wave and failed on the third. Both times, we got festia boxes, but no progress to the festia achievements other than the 1 point "you did ____ talent!". Is there a certain amount of time that you need to spend in there/waves you need to finish for the festia achievements? Or am I missing something entirely?

    You just need to kill 1 enemy to get credit for doing.

    And "buy skill/item" is capped at 5 per real day.
