1 email for multiple accounts

I feel that Nexon should allow more than one Nexon account / email. It is such a hassle to create and maintain email accounts for multiple Nexon accounts and it is incompetent. 10 years ago it was against the Nexon rules to have more than one account. Currently it is still in print although CS looks the other way.

Pretty sure that us free players have kept this game going by our presence and to have available materials or any other type of support for those in need.

I ask anyone who reads this to leave a simple message in support. The purpose of this thread is to make aware to CS the number of people who are in need of competency by the creators which I feel should include allowing multiple accounts for one email address instead of expecting ....

Perhaps if enough people join in Nexon may update their their rules before their dedicated players die or pass on their accounts to their children, family member or friend.
  1. Is this too much to ask of Nexon?5 votes

I can't think of any reason why one person would need to maintain more than one account. Creating more than one, there are some good reasons. But, as for actively using multiple accounts, one should be enough for anything you need to do.

You make it sound like you're abusing multiple accounts to collect more event prizes than you should, and are asking Nexon to change rules to accommodate shameless cheating. XD

This. No normal person will need multiple accounts. Especially when you can have multiple characters in a single account so there's no point in having any more accounts, besides maybe having another one for other server. You definitely must be abusing recent events with multiple accounts...

I'm active on a couple accounts because I play on both servers simulataneously and you can't log into the same account more than once. The main reason folks, who aren't up to sneaky business, would want more than one account is for storage. According to the rules there are only two limitations on Nexon accounts: (1) you can't make more than one in a single day, (2) you can't make more than 5 in a single 30 day period. Since Mari, Ruari, and Tarlach were first fired up, (I think it was spring of 2008?) there have been 146-or-so 30-day periods of time, since then, meaning one could, by the rules, have 730 accounts by now.

Multiple accounts make certain things [potentially] easier/faster to accomplish... namely :

    ・Hicca's Mom Quest
・Self-Dropping into Provocation-Mission when the whole entire server seems to be asleep/AFK
・Fulfilling the minimum-party-member limit for Shadow-Missions like Conflict, Provocation, Tailteann Defensive-Battle, etc.
・Back in the day when Dungeon-Runs were actually difficult, and you were the type who tended to be active when everyone else went to sleep already, and decided to solo-run a dungeon by yourself, a second character tagging along was something of an «insurance-policy» just in case you needed a character who could use a(n) [Advanced] Phoenix-Feather on you (although even that is now obsolete due to how many Nao-Stones can easily be accumulated rather quickly these days without having to spend $$$ from the web-shop), and was a «time-saver» option that I had historically used back when this was the case with the system-structure (don't forget that also running Baol-Infiltration used to take several hours to complete historically).
    ・[etc]

Although I do have multiple accounts/characters, I usually now only use one character for Events, and consider it too «time-consuming» to run more than one character for events these days, and as mentioned by Helsa my original primary purpose for them was for storage-space anyway which has become less necessary now due to the number of pets with good inventory space that have been released, several of them having been made available for free on occasion.

The other major reason for having/running several accounts (for at least me anyway) was so that more items could be listed into houses for sale at a time since only one house (per server ?) could be leased from the housing channel at a time per account (a second character on the same account could only switch the house to their own name for ownership rather than being able to bid on a second house in the housing channel). This was of course before the introduction of the Auction-House, and yes, I did historically spend $$$ on multiple VIP-services so that I could list in more than one house simultaneously, contributing to some «generating revenue» for the publisher (there have been plenty of historical memes that others have posted before from the previous-verrsions forums when Nexon periodically released things that resulted in plenty of the «shut up & take my money» posts [see following spoiler for commonly used image even in light of a number of players sometimes/often ironically calling them a so-called «greedy» company]).

If people are «abusing events» with multiple accounts, that has nothing to do with me and I can say with a clear conscience that «greed» is not part of my own «nature» and I already find the developers to be rather «generous» with what they often reward everyone with anyway, and as I have mentioned in some previous feedback at some other thread(s), being required to put in at least some sort of «effort» couldn't hurt (too much), as long as of course the Event is designed to be fun, and not make people feel like they're coming home from work in order to feel like they're doing yet a «second job» just to complete some Event-Quest(s).

Any time where I had been using multiple-characters, I was actually actively using all of those characters, such to that they were not so much a bunch of «Alts» but more like... multiple main characters... each of whom I had used equally enough to where they all had several thousand cumulative-levels back when it used to actually take more than a year to reach 5K+. I don't have as much «free-time» these days to «multi-hard-core» that way like I used to but, alas, all good things eventually come to an end anyway until we earn our way to paradise/heaven in our eternal-existence.

I don't mind the requirement of multiple e-mails but I already use multiple e-mail accounts for their separate-purposes anyway, such as an e-mail account with the word «Finance» or «Financial» in its name for any accounts related to finances (banks, bills, etc.), another with «Law» in its name for anything to do with Legalese, another specifically for my Amazon-account, yet another one or more for certain types of subscriptions, another for forum-related accounts, etc., etc., but of course I also use a registered version of MailBird which allows me to organise multiple e-mail accounts (this can be useful for a variety of reasons).

Corporate-rules generally do not allow for account-sharing, account-trading, account-selling, etc., but account-inheritance (such as due to deaths of family members) is something that even banking institutions will «honour» (usually after going through bunches of loops & hoops though). The only way you're going to get around things like bots, alt-abuse, etc., is literally to design a game in such a manner as to where people have to actually get up off their ass and physically go to the gaming location such as how it is done at those Laser-Tag centres, but I think it is still a looooong way off before there will be any such VRMMORPG gaming centres that require your physical-presence in order to play multi-player version games of something like the following...never-mind... I don't seem to be able to find the relevant video but anyway I thought of a better description...:

3-D Holographic Theatre-Style Virtual-Reality MMORPG where you might see similar things to the following...

To be fair, everyone, at least you can't accuse them of spamming for post-count; it'd be WAY too inefficient the way they're going about it.
