Baltane Mission disconnect consequences
Greetings!
Today The Meow was disconnected again. This time it happened during Avalon Bridge Baltane Mission. It was a seemingly usual disconnect, right at the time The Meow was using a skill, so the skill icon froze and became unresponsive, and everything in the game that involved a change of state was retained. This happens every day at different times for reasons unknown, and The Meow is usually unable to get back into the game for 15to40 minutes. That very disconnect issue aside, this time when The Meow logged back in, he appeared at the place where he had entered Baltane Special Unit from, but the BGM that was playing was that of the Baltane Mission, and it didn't end but kept repeating as if The Meow was still inside the mission. The steps he took in an attempt to solve the issue - but for no avail - included:
• Enter and exit Baltane Special Unit
• Change the location (enter and exit an area that features a different BGM in the same cell)
• Use a Moon Gate to teleport to another cell and back
• Use Poulnabrone to teleport to a dungeon
• Switch channels
Another side effect was that the mission wasn't counted as completed, but the effect of the Baltane Mission Crystal used disappeared. The Meow entered the mission again and completed it, and that's when the mission's BGM ended. However, the music in common didn't return to normal, there was no BGM at Avalon Gate upon returning from the mission. Only after The Meow had exited Baltane Special Unit to the former Uladh cell and moved to another area inside of it the music in common returned to normal state.
Thank you for the attention!
