In mabinogi, players have a wide selection of hairstyles, Eyes, Face shapes, and Mouth Shapes to choose from. In one of the more recent updates, you are able to save, and re-use previously registered styles depending on how many style slots you have unlocked via pons. However why not take this system a step further?

I have for the longest time seen players interact with eachother via facial emotes in game. Using chat-commands, or using the alt+number key emotes pre-bound in game. However these emotes are very old, and have shown their age as they use the oldest default facial shapes or styles in game. This is where the style save slots come into play, and perhaps an extended system of the salon tabs that allow players to customize their own hotkey emotes.

In the (heavily shopped) above pic as an example, a new tab featuring a playwright mask would allow you to use various saved Eyes and Mouths to be bound to hotkeys of your choosing, such as Alt+ 1 ~ 0 keys. It would allow you to change the very old default facial emotes with new ones of your choosing. By adding this feature to the game, players will be able to express themselves with custom emotes by using the ever expanding salon selections available.
