Hi, as the title implies i would very much appreciate it if there were a way to undo uprgades, i looked for one and found none
see the issue is that it is very easy to install the wrong upgrades or like in my case mistake the artisan upgrade for something you install after the fifth not the fourth upgrade.

you can reforge items, you can overrwrite enchantments and all that but you cannot change upgrades?
if i make a mistake or change my mind it would be *great* if i was not permanently stuck with a mistake i made
i know you can undo artisan upgrades so please let me undo the other ones too.
otherwise i'm stuck with a staff with 100 proficiency that i can never upgrade again, and that is just really sad
thank you for reading this and have a nice day

I 100% agree, have it be an in game item you can buy, or an NX item. I don't care which. Too many items that have their potential squandered due to improper upgrade paths.

For "reversing" in-game NPC upgrades, right now, you have to buy a replacement item, build proficiency, and pay for a new set of upgrades. This may be deliberate as it is a gold sink. Of course, you can help fund this by selling the old weapon, but I digress.

Instead, perhaps then they could add a paid-for option (in gold) with NPC's, or better yet with specialised NPC's (maybe call them tinkers) to undo upgrades: either all or the most senior one (so you can step backwards). This way it's still a gold sink but you will probably have to rebuild proficiency, depending on how far back you go in the upgrade sequence.

Or just have one tinker, a very special character. Have them be a Dwarf, living in the Dwarf town (since Dwarves are the best tinkers), after adding Dwarves, as a playable race, to the game! XD

this may be silly, but i´f i had to spend two or more million on replacing my staff and its enchants, upgrades and everything
i'd honestly prefer just fixing up my current staff instead of buying a new one. even if both options were the same price or heck forbid, fixing my current staff was more expensive

I'm just saying that if Nexon implements this, it won't be free. In that case I'd rather them thinking about gold rather than NX.
