Race Change

Hello Milletians. I come to you today with a request. I humbly request the option to purchase a race change. With all the new changes to Mabinogi, I really feel like its a vital option to allow for customization. I made my character 13 years ago. The game has changed, I've changed, the world has changed, and there's no longer a war between elves and giants. The idea of "rerolling" is something that I'd never do. I've spent too much time and money with this character. Please Nexon, please hear me. Allow us to do Race change. I would pay easily $100 USD. I just want to be shooty boy with bow :(

I love this game and am beyond excited for the future. Keep up the good stuff <3

    I got a feelin' they are working towards that. According to the producer's letter, we will be getting Elf/Giant marriage this month (Sept. '23). They said, at the Korean Language live-stream back in June, that they will be getting rid of redundant or no-longer utilised code. I read that as meaning, mostly, the E/G alliance system. Possibly, as well, in September but I think, they are working on it. So, make sure to get both of your assistant character cards because, if they get rid of the alliance system, getting those cards might go away with it. So, get 'em while the gettin's good. Removing the alliance system will make adding the "choose race" option, to the rebirth process, a LOT easier. With that option then, when changes are made to the game, a lot of the beaching about which race is now best will be limited.

    As an update, i made an elf. Im at 18k in just a few days. Not all bad tbh. Thanks nexon :) Been BLAZING through the generation quests. its a lot easier the 2nd time around actually

    Hell no they are not getting rid of EvG. lol. That is one of the popular pvp options on Mabinogi. Also I highly doubt that they would allow race conversions for the simple fact that leveling up and ranking your character is incredibly easy and fast now that it actually encourages you to have multiple characters races and builds. Plus why would they allow this when starting up a new character could potentially be more profitable than allowing you to convert your race? Yeah it's not happening. :smirk:

    See? You'll be fine. All the updates implemented over the last few years were done to encourage players to branch out. The leveling and ranking can be done in a couple months rather than years like it was before. The real end game is the gear. Godspeed.

    They can get rid of EvG and just update the PvP system. As for the other points they could be enable race change for the simple reason that folks are asking for it; it also address the whining about one game-race being better than another.
