Would you play a Mabinogi gacha game?
Yeah yeah I know there's plenty of gachapon in Mabinogi, but I mean like a proper gacha game like Genshin, ZZZ, HSR or WuWa.
I'm not sure how into it I'd be, since I don't feel like I need more gacha games in my life lol, but I'd probably at least try it, haha.
Mabinogi has such a wealth of NPCs that I found it fun to imagine who might be 5*s and who might be 4*s in such a game. For example, Mari/Nao, Tarlach, and Ruairi would be the 5 stars of G1-3 with Aodhan or Aranwen being free 4 stars lol
With this style of game gaining a lot of popularity more recently I think it would be fun to see a Mabinogi-flavored version. A common gripe I frequently see about many gacha games recently tends to be about the over-saturation of female characters and having fewer and fewer male characters released over time. Mabinogi has always had a pretty good ratio in their NPCs, not to mention all of the different body types (I got kind of tired of the limited body models in Genshin.) So I think there's definitely a market to capitalize on there, in terms of money. I'm kind of surprised one doesn't exist or is in the works already.
