Eternity Project Optimization and Computer Specs
Is there any information on what the minimum specs will most likely be for Eternity Project? I saw that it was being developed in Unreal Engine, which worried me a little bit because a lot of times developers will use Unreal Engine but not know how to properly optimize their game or offer settings that allow people with lower-end devices to play. That said, Nexon is better than an indie studio, so I'm probably just being paranoid.
I know the answer is probably going to be unclear until it's further into development, but I'm just wondering if the game's minimum requirements are expected to increase drastically or not. I suspect that at least it'll rely less on the CPU and use the GPU more with the new engine.
I have a higher-end computer so it's not a big deal for me personally, but something I like about games with "lower quality" graphics is that they're more accessible to people on lower-end devices. I believe part of the reason that games like Minecraft, Terraria, Roblox, and Fortnite (arguably) are so popular and successful is because they kept a pleasing "style" while not demanding much performance wise, allowing a far greater audience to access their games. It's quite difficult to get someone to play a newer AAA game that pushes graphical boundaries because they're so exclusive of anyone who doesn't have a high-end computer or current/next-gen console to play on. But it's much easier to play the Minecrafts of the world with your friends because that barrier isn't as high.
