i chose his verson of the tribolt wand...didn't care for his choices in modifying attributes...was hoping for chaincast +4, but instead it gave increases in casting speed

was wondering if it's possible to change the options somehow on any weapons...like choose dungeons instead of life skills, or combo...if that will alter the upgrade hammer...any suggestions, or am i restricted to what Ferghus pre-selected regardless of choices...don't seem to be able to perform my own upgrades on it

    Ummmmm...... It's from Ferghus.

I think we should all just be happy it wasn't made from glued together paper n wood like the wings he made in prior events (LOL... wish those had been permanent items)

    Hi @ookie

The upgrade paths for all 3 types of objectives are the same, but you are always welcome to trade in the weapon and upgrade it the way you wish if you'd like! Just remember that if you decide to change weapons later on, you won't be refunded for those specific upgrades.

thank you Elebon...i was able to work out eventually which NPC to go to by following the Perseus version...i've got my Chaincast +4 along with Casting (Charging) Speed +7...working on building up proficiency to do the gem upgrade right now...hoping to still be able to use Ferghus' upgrade equipment for the special upgrade portion of it

Misuchan, i still have those wings in a bank for the nostalgia...lol

Special Upgrade Stones from the Fergesus Event are exclusive to the weapon.
I have cleared the quests that granted the items for Fergseus Weapon Prefix, Normal Upgrades, and the Gem Upgrade.

Aside from the Clear 1 Fahmes Stage quest...
It seems as if the quests (for the Special Upgrades) that have unlocked so far are manageable for returning players to clear.
Fahmes should have been removed as a 1 Stage Clear and replaced as a 1 Level Clear.
Too much stun lock without using any of the +10 Ultimate Geas Edge Set that drops from the Over the Rainbow event.
And honestly, it is not very returning player friendly, depending on the Arcana you picked from the Fly High event.
(Only 1 Ultimate Geas Edge Set Part dropped for me, and I cried over the cost of my second part from the player market.)
The mobs on Level 5 of Stage 1 not only stun-lock, but they actively prevent any loading time on skills.
(Bullet Rush, or any skill with an activation lag.)
The Fahmes part of the event would have run better on the Eternity Engine, with revaped combat mechanics.
Unfortunately, the changes to the engine have no set date as of the moment.

was still able to use the special Fergseus Lucky Upgrade Stones despite having done my own initial upgrades beforehand so it's working out pretty good...already have the feather Trinity Bolt wand from Blaanid, but i wanted a decent backup with Chain Cast as well...got it...woot woot...used the prefix enchant, but probably won't use the suffix enchant...there's a different one in auction that i'm drooling over the thought of having so i'll just wait for that one...right now it's just too pricey for me, but i don't wanna lock in a suffix i can't remove later

I completed a Baltane Elite Mission- Nowhere To Run, but it does not count towards the Fergseus Event task.
Is there a specific thing I should be clearing that is a Baltane Mission?

I think the event task is looking for the regular Baltane missions, not the Elite ones. The Elites don’t seem to count for it, even though it feels like they should. Try running one of the standard Baltane missions (like Battlefield or Defensive Battle) and it should register for the Fergseus task.
