Can't delete notes on pets

in Incomplete Bugs
I am unable to delete current notes on pets. However, I am able to add to what is there.. I tried backspace and delete. Am I doing it wrong or...?

    Press Cntrl + A to highlight everything to delete the note and write new ones.
