Back in high-school I was at a house party, and we all got the munchies, for some reason . . . cough cough. Anyway the host grabs one of those supermarket gallon buckets of ice-cream and start scooping it out to everyone's bowls, except this one college freshman chick who considered themselves a foodie. They were like, "No thank you, I don't eat American ice cream". So, I asked what kind do they like. They said, "Oh I prefer European brands like Haagen-Dazs and Frusen Glädjé". I had fun showing, to their horror, that those were American brands and that they were named that way to trick culinary snobs into buying them.
I never understood those kinds of people. Food is food.
Also, the argument that American food is worse, unhealthy, etc. is kind of old. It's true for the most part but it's not like anywhere else is any different.
They suspended this project and they are letting other games go and/or shutting them down left and right this year, they are laying off employees, IMPORTANT executives are leaving. How are we are as customers supposed to feel about this? I don't feel very confident about this company. I know Aquasol would peg me and others in this thread for FUD, but this stuff just keeps piling up. What are we supposed to think or feel about this? It feels like to me that things are coming to a head here.
I'm worried they are gonna shut NA down.
I never understood FUD. I understand if someone goes around screaming "THE GAME IS GONNA DIE! EVERYONE FREAK OUT--" but if there are signs that the company is struggling, we should have the right to be worried, no?
