I will let the, ahem, so-called «conspiracy theorists» contemplate/decide and guess on why I made a thread linking to this particular video amidst during this time/era of there being a plandemic, err, ahem... I mean... a pandemic going on in the world. Nah, just kidding, but I do think many of us share similar feelings/sentiments about what may really be going on (and probably should be) in lieu of what is being claimed by the media-pundits. Bon apetit !

He can't help it. A GM literally said no political discussions regarding COVID-19 and he continued it right under GM's post in a different thread. I think he's too deep into his ego and doesn't care anymore. Probably quarantine is making him crazy.

You know, I always found it strange to want to preach to a forum board for an anime game. Who are you talking to? These people don't want salvation or liberty. Even if they might, this place will only serve as a distraction. As if one is holding an intervention for gambling addicts inside a casino.

To help others that actually seek it is an admirable act, but more often than not it's corrupted. Preachers and cult leaders are one and the same, they tap into that primal need of "belonging" and take advantage of trust. Is that why you speak here? Because you feel you belong? I'm not suggesting anything corrupt of you, but explaining why threads such as these are held in contempt.

Speaking only for myself, I don't mind them, but I need to make my own conclusions. How could I ever put so much faith into another mortal? It doesn't make sense. Especially those that claim to be messiahs or anything of the sort, but they will pay their dues so I'll forgive that.

You can go on and sing high. Tell everyone who's lost that they're lost. Feel as though you've changed something or have evolved beyond your peers. We won't all get to cross over. That's just how it is, no matter how altruistic you perceived yourself to be.

I think some of it is just trying to reach out to those who might listen, whether to cause trouble or "help" being in question, but *shrugs* It might work about as well as your trying to tell him that, so...

My problem with this statement though is that I've seen this kind of thing lead to disinterest and an isolation as bad if not worse than what we're currently sitting in. Its like seeing someone slowly dying and looking away, or a blind man stumbling towards a cliff and doing nothing. I would rather reach out to those people I might be able to help, then to turn a blind eye when I might have been able to save that person's life. I don't see it as something to hold in contempt. Even if I don't share his views, so long as its not just to troll or other ulterior motives I don't see why not. From any other standpoint than "this is a forum for a video game", except we're in Town Square so....That's up to the mods XD

Now, I'm not going to go into a whole thing here - 1) being that this is a game forum and I'd prefer NOT to think about these things where I'm looking for a small distraction from life and (2) I know my opinions about politics, religion, etc are considered unpopular by today's people - because I don't want trouble or to fight, but this is the kind of thing that makes me feel like I have to say something, because it just seems to feed into a mindset that is unhealthy, whether you think from a personal vantage-point or otherwise. Its just bad for this species in general.
That's my piece, I'll return to lurk mode. Have a good day!

Y'all got such wild imaginations. The thread-topic is obviously about a music-video.
If something went/goes off-topic then obviously one may as well put it into a spoiler, although, that gives me another idea...
...basically, the more «off-topic» that some so-called «rambling» might tend to be, the more it should end up being embedded into a spoiler within another spoiler... like this one.
Now if we really wanted to get «metaphorical» we could add in things like Matrix-scenes or related memes...
...such as a scene like this one from The Matrix...
Also, the world has come to a point where I don't really feel the need/desire/motivation to «save» anyone who is not looking to be so-called «saved» (or «enlightened ?» or «looking for solutions to some problem ?» or is obviously «wanting "assistance"» or whatever we might call it), such as via responding to the Help or Tech-Support Sections, and the population around here is already «awake enough» anyway to where it is really not necessary. If I do think something is «suspicious» then of course I will say so, and have, but that's about the extent that I will go since the so-called «laws-of-physics» seems to have changed on me before and same with history itself (like people are time-travelling and literally altering the time-lines of my/your/our reality/realities, although I am not entirely sure if everyone is affected, kind of like how maybe I might be an «anomaly» who stumbled into some strange «glitch-in-the-Matrix» to where I have Generation 25 stuff on my screen whilst everyone else insists that Generation 24 was the last «released» generation, metaphorically speaking of course).
I say that it's fine to «remain calm and enjoy some music» (it's pretty good music, too) even if we are admidst a «panicking» population.
Like I mentioned before in my other thread, panicking is unnecessary, and there are always «solutions» to everyperceived] so-called «problem», the most effective at dealing with the «root» causes being non-punitive benign educative measures for anybody whose minds have gotten out-of-control to the point where they're assaulting others in some way (whether it be verbal or material).

Isolation is wonderful. I have achieved hermit status and when forced to descend the holy mountain into society, there is a renewed beauty. I never said to stop helping people, I encourage that. If you truly do selfless acts, it shouldn't matter to you, anyway. But some people are hopeless cases or are of very different cultures. Don't you find the missionary quite annoying?

You think so black and white with me. What you see as bad is "the worst" but I see it as another facet of life to be celebrated or simply respected.

Can you explain this? I don't fully understand your phrasing.

I'm not trying to start a fight or debate. I really don't care about things such as politics, religion the way others do. All my beliefs are for myself only, no concern for others' status. Unhealthy? I'm not telling you to give up, is that what you feel? (These thoughts aren't my own, I may be having an episode.)

The wild imaginations only come from you. This thread and some other posts of yours prove it. No one wants to read your ramblings about conspiracies and controversies. Just stop making walls of text, remove unnecessary symbols and write more simply with less difficult wording. It really discourages reading the way you write them. You think you look smart writing like that, but actually you look more annoying than anyone else here.

The less words used to prove a point shows more knowledge.

Though this was the first song I'd heard by Mylene Farmer, it's kind of weird how I came across it in the first place...
but if you wanna see it...
If you guessed it was a weird Touhou-related video, wow you're really good.

    1) As a hermit myself I can understand and appreciate, but not at this level. The missionary can be annoying, but I also find it something to respect if they are acting genuinely. I have experienced people trying to convince me of an idea/whatever, but it doesn't take too long to tell if they're sincere or not - or at least so my experience has told me, most trolls and insincere peoples have a way of talking, but I know that's not always correct so...take that with salt XD
Also, just to quickly address the 'black and white', it's more that it strikes me as one of those things that is pretty straightforward. I have however been having to deal with a certain type of person that has somewhat brought out certain expectations, so if I misunderstood something in your writing I apologize up front.

    2) To put it simply, this is the Town Square of the game forum, where things outside of the game can be discussed. So while it is still part of the place to talk about the game, it does have an open door to discuss other things. Its just the mods' call and choice as to what exactly can be talked about, and how far it can go.

    3) Not really. To some degree I like to discuss different ideas and ways of living with others, because much as I find people frustrating sometimes, I genuinely like learning more about the different ways people see and do things, even when I don't always agree. This does occasionally draw out my debate-y side, admittedly, because I am a firm believer in certain matters and manners, but I never mean anything ill-willed by it, I promise xD

I understand now, thanks for explaining. I still consider "Town Square" part of the whole thing because most people just talk about anime here still anyway. If we were on some religious site or a general mainstream social media place like twitter then that's different.

Same here, I like hearing different perspectives/arguments. But halfway through typing or talking I realize I don't give a f**** about anything I say or believe myself. like right now

Also, stop being civil, you're killing my boner.

Town Square kinda is part of the pie, but it seems to be the piece where the extra weird ingredients go. Take the Last Post Wins threads.....just about anything goes in there, it seems XDD But that's the fun of the thing, I just like rolling with it whether I'm feeling serious or trolly. Either way, I have fun.
Though I really must question, if you lose interest halfway through, why finish disinterestedly? ;P

Also, I normally would be contrary to these kinds of requests but when you put it that way you get a "not only no but heck no" :)

    1. I always finish what I started
    2. Sometimes the stupid things I say annoy people, so I get a passion again briefly to see their reactions
    3. I need attention

    Pick whichever.

Fair enough, at least I gave a warning. I am required by state to tell all neighbors of my super male vitality.

    I think all 3 work :P

You can consider me exempt, since I'm pretty sure we're not neighbors by any stretch....and if we were, that's prolly an even bigger problem XD

I'm a hermit in quarantine, Kensama, so I'm taking a break from chatting with Mother Nature and practicing communicating with the rest of the world. Which is good, she was getting REAL tired of my bull.
