Union Jack with Wales represented
The Union Jack,
although not officially so, is the de facto flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is made by combining the flags of:
England,
The cross of St. George, the patron Saint of England.
Scotland, and
The cross of St. Andrew, the patron Saint of Scotland.
Ireland.
The Cross of St. Patrick, the patron Saint of Ireland.
Wales is not represented on the Union Jack.
The patron Saint of Wales is St. David, who also has their own cross
So, I thought I'd add it in.
Since, the Vikings had an influence on the nation in the past, with many, well known, place names being of Viking origin, I made another version utilizing a
Nordic Cross.
