idea to stop the bot spamming problem

so atm we have no spam bots cuz they cant make characters so after character creator is back i have an idea where you have to be atleast between level 500 to 1k to talk in chat you can however add people to ask for help this kinda of like the buying items in nx shop being 500 to 1k total to buy the items

    No. This is a terrible idea. Blaanid's Memory Book will make this idea moot in minutes. Plus, it's not fair to newer players who come in and can't ask for help. They should just make blacklist a separate list so people can add to it. -_-

    Possibly, but this is a real way to torpedo people getting into it, so still terrible idea. Also, my point still stands regarding Blaanid's Memory Book. If these Bots can go through the tutorial enough to get the Lorna Horn thing, they can go through Blaanid's Memory Book.

    This is not true, we still have bots.... trying to sell gold every day. I also saw today multiple alts selling 950k+ fine reforges. So no bots are still around even though they shouldn't.

    And another thing, because of the Memory Book, it is so easy to get to lv 1k +

    According to the EULA, you can make as many as 60 accounts per year. These folk may have a back-log of characters to bot with. Not to mention that if bans are of limited duration then botting characters can be recycled. The add bots are annoying but they're confined to Dunby Square Channel 1. So I just temporarily blacklist them when I am there.

    I see them in Dunby and Belvast. They just can't make more bots on Ruairi, Mari or Tarlach. They can still spam them in Alexina.

    That might work, like how they censor other words... just add these websites to the dictionary basically.

    And what if you were a player who wanted to start a new character? You're not gonna be able to talk to any of your friends for a whole 1k levels? Solonogi for 1k levels isn't everyone's idea of fun.

    I think your intention is good, it would be nice to not have spamming bots, everyone would agree with you on that. But there's gotta be a better way to clear it up rather than cucking real players.
