in Help
I just wanted to verify afew things about this set effect yar~
I wanted to know if it's worth retiring my old set to get an attack speed set~
I've gotten some mixed input on it so I don't really know how to take it in so I'm gonna ask the board ayy

Is there a cap to attack speed? o.O?

While dual wielding CRKs and in Final Hit:
Will it increase my attack speed? Which in turn increase my dps?

While using 2H Fanatic and in Final Hit:
Will it increase my attack speed? Which in turn increase my dps?

Which is faster between the 2? o.o?

Thanks alot~ Much appreciatortilla!

Yes, there is a cap to attack speed. If I remember correctly - Very Fast is the limit for Attack Speed buff, further past that won't effect it.

All ranged and melee attack speed will be increased by the set effect. Since CRKs can be dual wielded and are fast one-handed weapons, and Fanatic is normal speed, it's more likely you'll do more damage with CRKs (reaches very fast speed level, +crits). You can increase your attack speed even further with pet buffs, for example Alto's attack speed buff upon summon (increases attack speed by 0.3 for 15 seconds).

Hello, more than a year ago I tested crk with and without attack speed set, the result both end up as 84 hits.
No vivace buff or anything just crk and attack speed set, I open status to show that attack speed set is not active in first half while it's active on second half.

*EDIT* and to answer your question
    I have red6 CRK with 56th+48th Floor ESd + ele3 x2
and red6 ele6 Fanatic max roll
1500 str with CRK , 1491 str with Fanatic
I did 3 days worth of clobbermeister solo and the answer is CRK by average of 100kish damage
however one of the crk floor es is not near max while fgs has no 67th enchant

That is what I am hearing too, also saw people say only normal or below melee weapons get the attack speed buff from the set (+2 levels). So if that is true then in this case Fanatic will likely get the attack speed boost from the set since it is normal speed and it's new attack speed become very fast.

Hello, more than a year ago I tested crk with and without attack speed set, the result both end up as 84 hits.

This may be a bit confusing, but sometimes display animation and actual damage are not the same. Probably the display is too slow to keep up with the actual damage at higher speeds. The Developers who wrote the code will know better. I had read about it sometime ago (probably in wiki forum) when final hit buff just came out and we had to switch from lance to dual swords for black dragon. That time I did testing on black dragon and the attack speed set increased CRK's final hit damage by about 10-20 %.

Fanatic has more damage and CRK has more speed. Assuming that everything is at maximum or same, using final hit CRK will do more damage on single clobblermeister than fanatic because of the speed. But the difference is small. It is negligible if you add speed buff from most Festia wings that give speed increase of 10. (I am not entirely sure if we can get both the attack speed set effect as well as the Festia wing speed effect or it hits the speed cap.) On multi-clobblermeister, fanatic will beat CRK by a big score because of splash.

Bhafel Slayer (you need to spell correct in poll) is not good for cobblermeister.

I always thought attack speed buffs/effects just makes you look like you're hitting faster (like harvest song), hence why I don't really go for attack speed.
I use my knuckles for clobbermeister and I'm not sure if crks are faster than knuckles (just curiosity) or it's the same when using FH ( I live in AU so I'll never have the speed).

But I'd go for crks if I had only that option. Crks could be used anywhere (no knockback when using FH) compared to 2h weapons. And Langu set gives attack speed but the armor itself is already good imo.

CRK will not be affected by ATT Speed Set, it only affects Normal or slower weapons for melee specifically. That said, Fanatic still would probably not be better. Demonic Swords would be your best bet.

For single clobblermeister equip CRKs and bow
    (1) use support shot
    (2) quickly replace bow with fanatic greatsword
    (3) switch to Celtic royal knight sword (CRK) and blade with CRK.
    (4) switch back and final hit with fanatic greatsword if you can cap attack speed with either attack speed set or festia wings.
The whole sequence is a little bit hard to manage. If you don't have capped attack speed then stay with CRK for final hit.

For multi-clobblermeister use rage impact in the center, then blade biggest doll with CRK from opposite edge to blade all 5 dolls, then final hit biggest doll with fanatic to final hit 3 dolls.
If you are very fast then equip CRKs and bow
    (1) rage impact all 5 dolls from center with CRKs
    (2) support shot biggest doll, replace bow with fanatic
    (3) switch to CRK, rush to edge opposite to biggest doll and load judgement blade
    (4) Hit biggest doll with judgement blade so all 5 dolls are hit
    (5) switch to fanatic and final Hit biggest doll so 3 dolls are hit by splash

Buff using festia center, cater (hot chocolate, vales fire if you need extra strength to cap), bone dragon fragment and battlefield overture. Elemental reforges on weapons are most desirable. Use pet like fallen fairy to buff your speed and attack speed for 15 sec just before entering.
