"Deliver Gems" Quest does not count completion

What is the issue? (It may also be necessary to explain Why it is considered an issue.)

When using metallurgy on beaches and you receive gems as part of your skill bonus with ore, it does not count for completion.

What steps must be taken for us to recreate the issue?

Keep using metallurgy till you get ore and a gem in one skill use

What do you expect to happen instead?

Gems that are obtained as a bonus along with ore should provided a count for completion.

    Not sure if you've solved your issue yet, but to be sure- are you referring to the "Gemstone" quest? That's a totally different item to search for than regular gem stones, and it tells you under the Additional Info section of the quest on where and what to find generally on these quests. Gemstone is found using metallurgy on Scuabtuinne beach.

    I haven't been able to get the "Make one Broadsword" Quest to work either. I made a few and none counted.
