Cannot send more than 80 characters in public chat
Since the past few years, I noticed that whenever we are trying to send a message of 81 or more characters in public chat in the game, it instead erases everything we have typed and the message ends up not sending, despite being able to type at most 100 characters.
Reducing the limit of characters from 100 to 80, or being able to send all 100 characters would be very much appreciated to prevent accidentally surpassing the threshold to where our messages are not sent at all after putting the effort in typing. I'm just surprised this hasn't been fixed yet even after the quality of life update.

At least with notes you see the hard limit, but in game chat just lets you type and type and type THEN fails and erases all your work. It should stop accepting characters at the max+1; the +1 ensures you don't send an incomplete message. Then you can go back and fix it without having to reinvent the wheel, as it were.
