This isn't the first time I've made this post and probably wont be the last, but for heavens sake can we add color blind support to the game. I understand with things like Dying its not possible. The most recent frustration related to this has to be with the current Potion Making Dan Tests and the test being based on a colored potion over there head. Some people cant tell or differentiate what color that is and its honestly rage-inducing. Things have been changed in the past in ways that made them more colorblind friendly, whether or not that was the intended effect is beside the point. I thought the changes to Phantasmal Sight were great in terms of that as prior it was extremely hard to tell. But how hard is it to consider color blind people when designing this stuff.

Bumping this, as I think it'd be lovely. Heck, even though I'm not color blind, I reckon I would ABSOLUTELY make use that kind of support, since even though I can see color just fine, my brain doesn't always process things correctly, meaning a lot of things blend together unless a symbol is attached or strongly visibly different, which means it's usually much more taxing on me to have to intentionally think about those kinds of things in a stressful situation when some things could be spelled out a little better, lowering my already low reaction time, and at least having that as an option would be nice even if I don't need it as much as someone else.

I'm not sure how Mag Mell is for anyone else, but I struggle because color is the only thing to tell some enemies apart in a pinch, and some of the enemies don't have enough changes in terms of look to make it easier to instantly be able to tell what enemies are ones only your pet can hit or only you can hit. I've found myself having to throw my pet a at some enemies even though I CAN see the color, there just isn't anything useful information wise that I can see that quickly, and in enough time that I can actually make myself useful. Isn't Peaca Dungeon also annoying for that kind of thing too?

For things like that, having a few extra design changes between each enemy type would help over all, such as the tree enemies in Mag Mell having different types of flowers or leaves on them to further differentiate them from each other.

I also recall a time where I wore some glasses that got rid of blue light to try to get myself tired while playing Mabi, and while I'm not sure of how well that is representative of anyone else, I found a lot of things unpleasant to play with because of the color coding too, so I took the glasses off and just suffered through my body staying up longer because of the blue light because I felt like I needed all the colors I could to play the game.

Heck, the one time I went and played an entirely different puzzle game while wearing these glasses that was super reliant on color specifically has more and better options for being color blind, such as built in filters you can change in a myriad of ways and even with skins for the puzzle pieces to make it easier to see the difference in the shapes, which helps me especially since I struggle to use color to identify things anyway.

The comment you made of "But how hard is it to consider color blind people when designing this stuff" really sticks out to me, because I feel it's not hard to at the very least consider for a lot of things. All you need is a couple of pairs of glasses that block out certain kinds of light or a screen filter that can mimic it and you can pretty easily find flaws. The ones I used were just a pair of orange novelty sunglasses that just happen work as blue blockers because they're orange.

Of course there is a BUNCH of stuff I probably am missing regarding this subject, but my point is if even I have some problems with the color coding of certain things just because my brain processes things really slowly in general, there are definitely changes that could be made to make it less reliant on that aspect. You shouldn't need to squint and think it over for anything like that. Period. Anything that can be relatively I figured I might as well mention that, since if they implemented changes like that, they would be helping both you and colorblind people in general, but also people like me who need that extra help in certain scenarios.

This is absolutely a needed change and I honestly and wholeheartedly hope that more support gets implemented.
