Repeatable Gem Repair

Can we have this repair that allow us to repair the damage from the Fail Repair And Fail Enchant using various gems?
the repair only available when you fail repair and/or enchant the equipment and only available after Regular gem upgrade or before that
with that the upgrade that reduce the durability intentionally wont make this repair available

it would be great to make those gems that lying around on my bank and my inventory from events (like Manus Bait), more valuable

    This sounds like something we already have in game, the Altered Ferghus Hammers/Platinum Hammers/Golden Hammer of Durability.

    The first two allow you to increase durability of items up to a maximum of 20 durability, as much as you want provided you have the hammer. The Golden Hammer variant allows you to increase the durability of an item by 1 once.

    yeah i know that much i mean this one allows you to undo the mistake or the fail from repair and enchant

    I think what Hazurah meant was something that didn't need real money to be spent on. Like you would just be able to do the gem upgrades ovr and over without limits.

    I am not sure. It sounds way too easy. You might as well not have the durability system in the first place, unless you need 10.00 Cm diamonds. I would support easier methods, such as making plat hammers more feasible to obtain ingame (Gold hammers are useless) without events. Perhaps Gems can be used for this purpose, as a currency or something.

    I like this idea, but it would need balance to inspire purchasing durability hammers. You should be able to gem repair an unlimited number of times, up to 20 durability. I think that it should start out requiring three 4cm specific gems and grow by 2cm after each gem repair, and repair 2 points of durability for each time. So basically, you can do 3 gem repairs until you need 10cm gems for each one after that (basically 6 points of durability repaired back on before 10cm gems are needed), which should be fairly balanced.
    I think that more valuable equipment should always require the use of diamonds in repair, to maintain balance.

    That, or a repair skill that can somehow make it possible to get 100% repair rates somehow... It's overly stressful to have to deal with durability in this game.

    Make it diamonds only, and now watch diamonds go up in price, rip lazy diamond only ego players.

    not unlimited, but only to mend the damaged equipment due repair and enchant
    like for example
    the battle sword has 11(14 from sm) durability, because of fail repair twice and and fail enchant once, the durability drop to 7
    therefore, the repair can only be done 4 times until the durability back to 11

    other example
    the full upgrade 'bear knuckle' have 11 durability, while before upgrade have 16 durability. Since the upgrades that reduce durability is not considered as fail repair nor fail enchant. the gem repair won't be available until it is actually damaged

    WOW these are all totally great ideas!!! With all these gems from events, I'm reluctant to throw but like...running out of space!...and..I don't use spirit weapon!
