Guild Title question?

Hey there! I participated in the guilt title event a few years ago, and just about all the members of the guild I made during that time no longer play, so the guild has completely died off. I'd like to potentially join a new one now, but I don't want to lose my custom title.

Does anyone know if the title goes away once the guild stops existing? Or is it permanent regardless of your guild status?

I've asked this question before, but most people seemed to think it would disappear (assuming).

    It disappears if it's dead/ you're not in the guild. It's supposed to be around the idea that it's a "guild exclusive" title, that you can't take it any where with you.

    That's disheartening. The guild has been expired for ages, but perhaps I can try to refurbish it, even though I'm not too fond of the name anymore :P
