Question on appearance scrolls

Probably a stupid question... But does anyone know if the item needs to be enchanted/upgraded/reforged before the appearance change? Or can it be done after?

    It doesn't matter when you do it just note that the item will become untradeable once you apply the appearance change. The only thing you might want to consider is dyeing the item AFTER you change appearance since colors dont carry over to the new appearance you are going to apply.
