I think the biggest problem for chefs or anyone gathering is when you need to gather an obnoxious amount of water or milk, but each bottle can only hold a single use of the liquid, so you basically end up needing a full inventory of the stuff to get literally anywhere!

Why doesn't mabinogi general stores sell buckets, larger bottles, Jugs and XL heavy duty containers that can hold multiple uses of the stuff? and what about the option of dumping the contents instead of having to drink it should the player not want to look like Pig God from One Punch man.

Dumping the contents sounds like it would be a waste. :(

Also, we have to take into account the gameplay difference between milking being a skill and water filling being a non-skill. When filling containers with milk I think it makes sense to fill it unit by unit, one unit of milk per skill use, and to have the speed and success of the filling be affected by the milking skill. Filling a container with water should be relatively quick, should only take one action, and if it fails should at least partly fill the container. Honestly though I think water filling should never fail, but maybe failing at water filling has a gameplay purpose that I don't understand.

Also, why can't we just magically generate water? We can make icebolts, we can make rainclouds, we can make water cannon blasts, but not just straight up water.

okay first of all how would you self-milk yourself with hooves and no hands.
You're right, I did not think of that. Looks like it's back to the drawing board.

A "Create Water" spell/skill'd be cool though, but I want proper buckets/jugs.

I really wish we could hold more in our bottles too, or at least stack them to save space once they're filled.
I sometimes kinda wish there was a Water Gathering skill too, just so we'd stop failing so often. (>_>)
