Hi, Today i wanted to propose "Mana Arrows" and skills vaguely related to the concept
What is a mana arrow? A magical arrow that is made of Mana (therefore uses player mana for using it)
and it should probably use the "magic attack" skill for damage calculation.
Also if possible being able to fire a mana arrow and mix it with a bolt spell to add more damage + elemental effects would be very cool
overall i am not sure if mages really Need more ranged variety but i think it would be nice to give mage characters a normal weapon type into which they can intigrate their skills. also saves money on arrows if you have the mana.
Especially since Elves seem to be particularly suited for Magic and Archery i think having something that combines the two would work really well for them
Hi, i wish to suggest a suggestion. this suggestion goes as follows.
i suggest that there be a new type of weapon. now that is probably more complicated than i think but i wish to suggest it nontheless.
Spears and polearms. like halberds, poleaxes, lances (the not extremly wide kind), bardiches, glaives and a variety of polearms
why? polearms are a historially important and common weapon. very effective too. long range and versatile and easy-ish to use. generally spears are among the most simple and common weapons but by no means an ineffective one.
so my suggestion is to implement spears of various types, let them have greater range and some spears might be more defensive counter-attacky and some might be more offensive perhaps?
either way i think they would be a good addition. and naturally i think all races should be able to use them since.. they're spears.
javelins are another story and i think that some spears should be usable with a shield since that is another very effective method of using them with historical precedent.
