Here's a good start.
They managed well enough in the past with outfit bag sales coupled with gacha-exclusives. Fun suggestion: make the hydra skin set and hat+wig combos gacha exclusive and the 'normal' set an outfit bag. Or maybe make an entirely different looking set of fashion to be put in gacha that 'looks better.' This isn't hard to make or do when Korea is seemingly pumping out outfits three times a month.

You're trying to take a high road that does not exist. I've done some model making and know it's hard, but that doesn't excuse the current marketing method they are using when something else worked perfectly fine in the past.

If the means to do such sales are not included in the game/condoned by the game's host, it really can't be made the fault of the host that others do it. Now if there were an in-game market place where IRL exchanges could be made and are fully supported by the host, that's where this applies:

Just because someone's opinion is different from your's does not make them stupid. The server merge crowd has valid concerns, and so do the gacha-opposition members.

Japan and Korea are not going to magically change how things work just because some Western company basically killed their model overseas. If anything, they'd either give the NA Nexon branch full reign over the game here or shut us down because we're too small.
That's all assuming that the legal system actually accomplishes anything at all after the media buzz wears off and the next big story hits.

Honestly would have just been better to put a permanent coupon in the shop for the maximum amount of coins one could get in this event and called it good. The coupon is selling for 40 million gold in Alexina right now. This is 4x higher than any standard "new gacha wing craze" price, and to think that this came from a free event is rather insane.

There's a difference between working as intended and something people universally like. I understand that the end goal was to make the permanent wings sorta rare, but the choice of filler is hit or miss. Lots of people can use the training potions and seeds, but I don't think people appreciate getting those items in a once daily box. Especially when it is 1 seed per pull.
