Blame the trade war for giving me loads of time at work to post.
Today has been better, I've at least had some work to do to keep me busy for a few hours.
Anything for something to do :P
Me, I have Trig.
I would rather walk over glass.
At least it will get your brain worked up.
I hear you brother; I'd rather do differential equations than trig (even in the complex plane)!
They first should blame their poor Gun Control lmao.
They don't even blame guns as the issue, they say it's people. The infamous saying "Guns don't kill people, people kill people":
And of course spread the blame to other industries that don't give them lobbying benefits, like social media and video games.
To be fair though, the statement that "violence is glorified" does kinda have some truth, considering what all's been popular anymore. Not saying its a cause, buuuuut it is kind of a thing.
Just a little tweaks and taking bits from everywhere, and scapegoating is possible.
Similar to the saying "Lawyers don't sue people, people sue people".
YongYea's video about politicians blaming video games for mass shootings.
At the end, he mentions that people in Japan need to pass psychology exams and background checks in order for them to own a gun. This is also a case in Lithuania and many other countries as well. USA's government needs to realize this an any other USA citizen too if they haven't already. They need more strict gun control or the problem will persist.
All countries that have a higher rate of gun violence, not just the US.
I was reading an article yesterday about guns in Switzerland. Almost everyone, especially men in Switzerland have a gun due to mandatory military service. Normal carry of guns there is illegal unless the person passes strict exams to carry a gun outside. Hunting guns also need to have a special permits. Guns cannot be loaded until transported to the destination of use. They say that there is gun violence in Switzerland, but the proportion of homicides is very low versus suicides by gun.
Swiss laws and culture are a decent example of why they don't have many mass shootings. It all comes down to discipline and responsibility.
Just sayin'!
