Same. Checked again and name was taken. Not sure how the whole process works exactly if you go to grab a name but can't and someone else gets it.

They're not NPC bubbles, but this is probably my favorite message when attempting to gather wood from the Chopping Blocks.



Also, IMO, this is the most annoying message in the game for anyone that gathers stuff for crafting:

Same thing happened to me a while back. I clicked to use "Charge" with a chain blade and bow equipped and my equipment vanished. I dug around and found them in my Extra Equipment Tab.

Some things I can see failing even at 99%. In real life there are some things that have a margin of error even though you've done it hundreds of times.

Cooking, for example. Even though I've prepared the same dish to eat over and over, I've also messed it up during preparation and had to throw it out because of some small mistake. (i.e: miscalculating measurements or forgetting something, hence the 1% error) So, that's where I can see the 1% coming into play.

But, sometimes it comes in to play way too often. Most people refer to that as bad luck and it's hard to tell if it truly is bad luck or if the percentages aren't really as they seem to be.

I have a gate in my Homestead and even if it's only for show, I'd replace it with a Moongate in a heartbeat. Just imaging running up to it and the Moongate stone lifts up to let me pass.
