It would take a LOT of work (including possibly changing the engine) to make Mabi look more like the standard MMO today.
Some folks prefer the "anime" look of the game over making it look more realistic. I figure have an option where you can decide whether you want "classic" Mabinogi or say something that looks more like Vindictus or something. On a side note, I'd like our characters to blink rather than stare out like the soulless automatons that they are.
Blago Prairie reminds me of valleys of southern France. The point of land, on the opposite side of the strait that makes Renes an island, is my favorite place for a beach campfire. All the map glitch areas of the Zhardine Map are awesome since I like the primal beauty of Zhardine; it reminds me of Iceland. The oasis is a tranquil place to sooth a friend in need of a friend. The map glitch areas of Corrib Valley and Tir Chonaill remind me of the stark hills of Scotland. The eastern beach of Connous is nice with it's ship wreck. I miss the map glitch areas of Connous, but they closed the portal by Portias house years ago.
But, living in Canada and although my main is a giant, Physis and Sidhe Sneachta, have NO charm for me; I hate winter!
I think when you "delete" a character you're actually marking it for deletion, so that the actual act of deletion comes perhaps a few days later. Maybe it's some kind of built in buyer remorse check thingie.
I think senior members had meaning back when guilds owned castles and built houses in the neighborhoods. IIRC senior members could build houses? Is guilds owning castles still a thing? Yeah there ain't much you can do with a guild; the game won't even let me load a guild emblem despite it promising me to do so. My guild has a leader and members. No senior members, not even an officer; it's a pretty flat hierarchy.
If you are visiting Duncan often and holding off on mastering skills and achieving dans until later, then you don't really have to worry about -CP enchanted stuff.
