There's exactly two different people I wish I could've said those lines to a few years ago.
The reason why I ultimately side with the others is that contact-lists should synchronize across clients.
I, TOO, dislike when the 50 year old gin-soaked forum members go around harassing underaged minors and making new accounts to chase said-players across different outlets. Especially back when we HAD multiple servers.
When a player deletes someone, they should disappear from their harasser's contact list. When a player declines an invite, they should disappear from their pursuers' contact lists. Not having this is an obvious vector for both targeted-harassment and abuse of minors.
