  • Fusion Bolt

Fire+Lighting: one big hit that chains like lightning bolt and knocks down everything it hits
Ice+Lightning: five weaker attacks that all chain and stun like lightning bolt
    Fire+Ice: one big five-charge ice-enhanced firebolt, then a four-charge, then a three-charge, then a two-charge, then a single—basically 15 for the cost of 5

They all have their uses. It's situational.

Fire/Lightning I totally get. So when do you use the various ice fusions?

Fire + Ice is best for single tanky enemies. You get the single hit damage from charging firebolt with the repeated hits of icebolt.
Ice + Lightning is best if you can kill whatever you're fighting in one or two hits. The first shot hits targets, the next hits 4 and so on. For a total of up to 15 enemies hit. It's also the quickest to charge.
    You already know about fire+lightning.

That said, a tribolt wand kinda invalidates fusion bolt completely.

  • Is it worth it to go for dan ranks on firebolt?

Honestly, the damage boost is basically non-existent. Remember, that the magic damage formulae are messy and going from 120 to 126 doesn't actually mean getting a 5% boost; for most people the boost will be much smaller. Let's say you have the following:
    Rank 1 magic weapon mastery
    Rank 1 bolt mastery
    Rank 1 fire mastery
    No combo card affecting firebolt
    No hebona set
    +150% crit modifier

You'd be adding a whole 273 damage to your fully charge firebolt crits and that's before magic protection reduces your damage. If you simply want to get your skills to Dan 3 or if you've reached a point where that is genuinely the most worthwhile way to get stronger, then go for it but don't expect to get much out of it.

Even if you've got a perfect setup for firebolt (hebona set effect, 85% combo card, r7 tribolt, 50 renown with Yvona, the new crit homestead thingy, level 20 bolt and fire mastery reforges against an enemy with no magic protection) then the jump from rank 1 to Dan 3 still only adds 555 damage.

Basically, magic damage is calculated in a stupid way (though not as bad as alchemy) which means that danning most spells is actually pretty inconsequential.

  • Inventory Expansion

Welp, if you have not heard yet.. Korea just got an inventory expansion you can buy permanently with NX.
With a rough equivalent to 15k NX, you get two more columns in each of your inventory tabs including Basic, VIP, and Me.

Seeing as how this could drum up some sales for the upcoming G21 Doll bag boxes, how will your be revamping your inventories once it hits?

Also, what do people suggest as alternatives to PB? It has gotten significantly worse.

Honestly, I wish they'd just give up on inventory tetris. It made sense back when we had one restricted inventory. Now it's just a nuisance that makes it hard to find items.

  • Enchant Repair Modifiers - Change Formatting

Another thing could be to show the total repair cost modifier somewhere on the item. That would also help new players notice the 10x cap.

  • Lotboxes and Gambling

Nothing because Gacha is not the same as loot boxes and the only people to blame is yourself if you buy gacha and you dont get something, that's not nexon's fault because you are not being promised something good. ALso doing Gacha is not gambling, if you are at the point were you can't control yourself, that's not nexon's fault.

I mean you can say all trading cards/blind bags are gambling and no one is whining over them.

A few things wrong with this post:

    1. Gachapons and loot boxes are the same in everything but name alone.
    2. In the most literal sense possible, gachapon is indeed gambling:

    3. Plenty of people are indeed "whining" over this

    4. The fact that people can choose not to make a purchase does not mean that providing that choice isn't potentially harmful, nor that nothing should be done about people taking that choice to their own detriment; hence why gambling laws, alcohol consumption laws, drug restrictions etc. exist.

All this isn't to say that Nexon must or will stop using gachapons, but it's recently become an issue that's hard to ignore. I believe the OP was trying to address this, but didn't do so very clearly.
