    My guess it was prevent players from ferrying their friends around, but that could just be solved by disallowing mounting in homesteads. Or it could be a gamebreaking technical issue they can't be bothered solving.

    Either way it would be nice if this was a thing.

    Don't get me wrong, the update is great. <rant> The scenery on the other hand is the most half arsed map design I've ever seen. Every map is just encased by the same barren hills. It looks horrendous.</rant>

    So from the stream its apparent we can fly in Tir, Dugald, Dunbarton and Gairech. They also filled in the white voids with a little scenery and extended the view distances.
