We're at the end of September

    Meanwhile, at Funimation...

More simulcasts and the impending next stage of their lawsuit- Mediation.
(Sony is partly to blame for the silence, tbh.)

    What about simulcasts?

Both Crunchyroll and Funimation are rolling out more/new Simulcasts, meaning Funimation/Sony is trying to pretend the press releases never happened.
Not exactly certain what this means for Funimation voice actors, but they seem to have kept their jobs... for the moment.
Now this is just a rumor, but people are saying that Sony is already cleaning house of personnel they don't need after the last merger.
Normal behavior, but you know how much the press likes to speculate off this.
    Crunchyroll's Simulcast Calendar

There was also recently someone on Twitter who got blocked by Funimation's official Twitter page.
(It isn't too surprising, since you-know-who was recently spreading word of how to install block bots. Which is likely against Twitter ToS.)
Actions like this appear to the public as rude and unprofessional.
I've seen this exact kind of behavior shown by Avenger's Academy, when they blocked someone who pointed out their $100 character- of which was 100% free in another Marvel licensed game.
(Avengers Academy was an app made by Tiny Co on a Marvel collab contract that expired this year, along with the game.)
I gotta be honest, if a company blocks consumer feedback about the price comparisons of a sister game/company, or discussion about the ongoing loot box industry apocalypse, then they'll never improve the bottom line.
(Might I add that the bottom line is always dependent on the consumer?)
I don't know if Sony is in charge of the Funimation Twitter right now, but considering the context of the user's tweets, it was likely a Funimation employee who blocked a customer. The media only gets worse for Funimation, and it may get even worse if they don't settle at this Mediation.

Either way this situation goes, anime will continue to be dubbed/subbed by Sony's Funimation as well as Crunchyroll.
(Apparently Sony partners with Crunchyroll as well, so any possibility of Funimation merging into Crunchyroll is within a percentile, upon the probability of loss of the company from settlement.)

Man, I was TDOed for 5 hours last night. -_- Google's algorithms labelled my personal emails as "threatening".

I mean, they were between me and a friend discussing myself in a much darker time in my life, so all's fair. The FBI got involve. I was certainly lucky that I was not involuntarily committed to a mental hospital, but I am beginning to question if I am too "yandere".

TDO=Temporary Detention Order (Police can hold you for 72 hours (Three Days) if they suspect harm is coming to you or others.)

Bliss, your life story is starting to sound like something you'd write in a diary, and promptly burn that diary in the hopes that no one reads it.
And Google's algorithms can do that? And they held you with no prior records to support such suspicions?
A very unlikely story, but maybe consider that therapy session. Just in case.

I still shudder at the mere thought of those 5-10 year old outdated textbooks.

Google also has an algorithm to scan images to detect actual child pornography within Gmail. No humans needed. Words are even easier than outright image scanning. It is likely a mixture of terms and the frequency of usage, alongside other trigger words, such as the name of certain universities, or mentioning "backpacks" and "pressure cookers" in the same sentence.

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/11012008/Paedophile-snared-as-Google-scans-Gmail-for-images-of-child-abuse.html

It was actually concerning thoughts and such regarding rather unpleasant topics beyond the scope of your everyday homicide. The FBI phoned my friend I was corresponding with, but yes, Google is scanning your emails for keywords. They will then alert the authorities, who will give you a psychiatric evaluation just in case. Much of it seems to do with terrorism and mass murder.

...I am not a very calm person when it comes to my little sisters.

They were awfully nice and courteous and waited for my class to end before cuffing me. Though Google does not seem to read the emails, so I had to explain the last two years of my life before they let me go, requesting a follow-up. The FBI phoned my friend, while I was paid a visit by the police.

I also have a bit of a history with the local behavioural health community, so it is not entirely unprecedented.

...I am just really lonely and threw a fit regarding testing accommodations and the process. I have to fight a grade reversal case in December due to this.

As if. 5-10-year-old outdated textbooks would be cheap. No, better to buy the 25th edition of the textbook where they simply change the problem numbers, and then sell it at $450 despite the 15th edition being the same at $85.

It seems that you handled the situation with a clear state of mind though. Which is a good thing for both you and them.

Alternative schools are always better at handling behavioral health, and are more capable of understanding the signs or mental symptoms than standard schools. (Such as Autism, Asperger's, Bipolar, ect.)
Though I doubt if your local area would have a school with teachers licensed for special education, and I don't know if you'd qualify for that.
I hope you didn't hurt the poor lads too much with your life story.
Just remember to not say your life's history on cellular or email next time, and try thinking up a good pen name if you ever want to sell it in a novel.
